MyTunesRSS files
Caches and preferences folders
MyTunesRSS stores temporary and some configuration options in one or two folders depending on your operating system.
On Windows there is a folder called MyTunesRSS3 in Application Data inside your user home folder. The name of the folder might be different depending on your system language since Windows names some of its folders in the system language. This is the preferences and the cache folder.
On Mac OS X there are two folders, both called MyTunesRSS3. The cache folder is in {user home} / Library / Caches and the preferences folder in {user home} / Library / Preferences.
Other systems (e.g. Linux) hold the above information in a folder called .MyTunesRSS3 directly in the user home folder. Again this is the cache and preferences folder.
Cache folder
The folder contains the database in the directory h2, the log file MyTunesRSS.log, the Tomcat server working directory tomcat-work and the optional transcoder cache transcoder.
Preferences folder
The folder contains the license file MyTunesRSS.key, the configuration file settings.xml, the optional folder lib for additional database drivers and the themes and languages folders.
Registering in headless mode
If you are using MyTunesRSS in headless mode because you have a server machine without any graphical interface and you want to register MyTunesRSS, you have to copy the license file to the correct directory with the correct name manually. See above for the directory and file name.
